YOUR DATA, CLEARLY EXPLAINED

A thoughtful workspace.
Personal by nature.

Coala is in development. Here’s how data is used in the current product.

Your Coala account

Coala stores your name, email address, a hashed password, and sign-in sessions. Verification and password-reset messages are delivered through Cloudflare Email Service. Account pages use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

Your connected accounts

When you connect an account, Coala stores synced profile, contact, conversation, message, and transaction data, along with notes, tags, and follow-ups you create. The desktop uses this saved information to display your workspace. Platform connection credentials are encrypted on the backend.

Billing

Stripe handles payment forms and subscription management. Coala stores subscription and access status. Billing currently runs in a sandbox during development; use test payment details only.

Your account controls

You can change your password and review or revoke active Coala sessions from your account. Changing your password signs out other sessions. Disconnecting an account in the desktop app is separate from signing out of Coala.

During development

This is an explanation of the current product, not a final launch privacy notice. Retention, deletion, and support procedures are being finalized before wider availability. If you’re testing Coala, contact the person who gave you access for help with your data.
